Hey, I am flying in for a seminar in September and want to know what the swing scene in Chicago! I learnt how to do 6 and 8 beat dancing, lindy hop, and charleston whilst living in Melbourne, Australia last year. I have a year of dance practice under my belt and love it! Saskatoon does not have a very good scene at all believe it or not! Let me kniw!

There's not a lot of activity on windyhop right now, (it was recently undergoing a facelift) but I wanted to respond to your question, there should be a calendar on the website here, or you can check out http://thisweekinchicago.blustein.net/ it's hard to know if there will be a large dance crowd at any event, but typically Fizz and the Drake are fairly populated. I personally love going to Untitled for dancing on Thursday or on the weekends, but it's hard to tell if there will be a crowd. I hope that helps!
